“The Equalizer” is a reboot of the reboot
Before rapper Queen Latifah, Denzel Washington played the former CIA agent McCall in the service of justice – but the two movies starring the Oscar winner were just a reboot of a successful television series from the eighties.
So the “Equalizer” started its mission in 1985 in the CBS series of the same name with the British Robert Woodward as Robert McCall. In the old seasons of the cult series, “Cobra Kai” William Zabka was also seen as the protagonist’s son.
