What’s new in standalone ?
We start with good news, the return of Swords of Gargantua to the Meta Store ! Return, because the game had been withdrawn in September 2022 due to serious structural problems (which affected the servers in particular). This was controversial at the time since even the single player mode was impacted.
As a reminder, Swords of Gargantua is a sword fighting adventure game with realistic physics, all in gargantuan settings. You can decide to go it alone or in cooperation with 3 other players.
The game will be available again on the VR platforms Meta Quest 1 (he has not said his last word), Meta Quest 2, Rift and PC from March 2, 2023. If you owned the game before the withdrawal, it will be possible to redownload it. Good news, it will now be possible to perform the solo mode without being connected online.
After the return of one game, the departure of the other. Eh yes ! Nerf Ultimate Championship will soon be delisted from the Meta Quest Store and its servers will soon be down. The reason is much more serious than the one that once motivated the developers to stop Swords of Gargantua : the parent company of the studio, secret locationwent bankrupt and the follow-up of the game is compromised.

Today we have some important, yet difficult, news to share with the community about the future of NERF Ultimate Championship. It is with heavy hearts that we have made the decision to end support for the game and all future content. This choice is not made lightly, but with recent changes within our parent company, Secret Location will be closing as a studio and we will no longer have the resources to continue supporting the game.
Players benefiting from the game will have until August 31, 2023 to take advantage of it.r, it reminds us of a certain Echo VR. Note thatno refund is provided.
