What’s new in standalone this week ?

A new free update is available. baptized Lunar New Year Special, the DLCs will take you to Beijingaround an old building of scholars. The game is available on Meta Quest Storethe Pico Store as well as on the Playstation Store (free PSVR 2 update). Whatever the platform, we highly recommend it, especially if you are fond of zen and visually stunning experiences.

Only one release this week and it’s not a game per se but aan application for playing videos on screen or immersive in 4k (even 8k with an account premium) titled Deo VR: XR. The videos are of high quality and we advise you to take a look.

What’s new in PCVR this week ?

After entertaining us with the VR port of half life 2, the team Source VR Mod puts the cover back by announcing the porting of his suite:

the mod is free (although you will need to own the game Half-Life: Episode 1 to install it) and will be released in the first quarter of 2023 (without further details). Half-Life 2: Episode One is available now on Steam at the price of 7.79 €and if you have no title related to the license Half Life 2we strongly advise you to turn to the bundle The Orange Box (€19.50), which includes them all.

A new FPS (who said: “again?”) is about to land on March 1, 2023. To reassure you, The game has two interesting features: the first is that the game uses the codes of Superhot VRthe second is that you will use a bow as your primary weaponwhich promises (on paper) a gameplay much more technical than the game from which it is inspired:

The game is already present on Steam, no price has been indicated at this time. If you are interested, don’t forget to add it to your wish list.

An even more original title here because it’s about being in control and piloting the television news. You will then need switch between the different cameras, launching the ad at the right time, censoring if necessary, etc. All of this, of course, in a wacky universe Monty Python :

The title will be available, without price specification, on March 23 on Steam (PCVR) as well as on Meta Quest 2. Attention, the version flat of the game is not cross buy !

Attention fans of Daytona USA and Virtua Racing, the game in front of you breathes the 90s (ah this music!), also playable in flat that in VR, the game is particularly promising:

Content level, we stay on the classic: an arcade mode, on-screen multiplayer split (just like back then) or online. The game will arrive on March 31 in Early Access via Steamif you want to support it, the studio CGA (another beautiful reference to the 90s) will soon announce its kickstarter campaign. And if you want to try the title before backer, know thata VR compatible demo is already available on the page Steam Game.

The game will also land on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One consoles. Nothing has been revealed regarding compatibility with PSVR or the upcoming PSVR 2. ; likewise, we’re surprised the studio didn’t consider a possible port to Meta Quest Where picowhich remain (if not “the”) machines of choice for experiments low polyespecially when games of the genre are extremely rare in standalone!

What’s new on PSVR 2 news this week ?

Management enthusiasts will be thrilled this week because a game is dedicated to them. Cherry on the cake, it will be released on February 22launch day of the PSVR 2 :

Although the soft released last year on major VR headsets, the studio Handygames takes care to recall (the critics of the PSVR 2 rarely mention it) that it will obviously be adapted to the haptic specificities of the helmet of sony. The developers thus explain that players will be able to feel earthquakes as well as the various objects they hold in their hands, among other things.

The news :

This week we have Among US VR which can claim to have exceeded one million sales, Rec Room who thinks about giving our avatars legs, and the developers of Cities: VR (version PSVR 2) which announce a size of map larger (up to 9 times that of the versions Meta Quest).
