First unveiled during The Game Awards 2021, The Expanse: A Telltale Series took advantage of the Opening Night Live to give us a very light glimpse of its gameplay.
The title co-created by Telltale and Deck Nine Games is a narrative adventure adapted from the eponymous science fiction series from Amazon Prime Video. The story takes us aboard the Artemis ship, a sort of space prison, in the shoes of Camina Drummer. Very quickly, you will find yourself having to manage the mutiny that has broken out in the prison. And to face this event, you will have to make difficult choices, sometimes even at the limit of morality.
Moral choices that will become more and more numerous as you explore the prison since you will have the opportunity to meet all kinds of criminals there. Note that your choices will partly determine the course of the story.
Other than that, the video doesn’t reveal much more information. It will be necessary for the moment to be satisfied with a few images of exploration phases and possible interactions between the characters. No release date announced, although it seems that the studio wants to position its game in the summer of 2023 on PC and consoles, without further details.
