The Fall Guy: who is this actor in the post-credits scene of the film with Ryan Gosling?

Did you stay during the end credits of “The Fall Guy”, and you wonder who is this actor that we see appear? We tell you everything.

WARNING – The article below contains spoilers for “The Fall Guy”, since it notably returns to its ending and reveals one of its surprises. So please move on if you haven’t seen it yet.

When there’s no more, there’s still more: such is the motto of many big Hollywood productions, which like to hide a little bonus in the end credits, whether it’s a wink a look or a tease towards the future. And not only since the Marvel Cinematic Universe made it a way of life.

Released in theaters on May 1, The Fall Guy is no exception to the rule. But he does it in his own way, with several surprises.

To begin, we find out that Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), convicted of the murder he tried to cover up, has been arrested and replaced by… Jason Momoa. The real one, who makes a more than amusing cameo in the last seconds before the credits.

Then the credits play the making-of card, showing us behind the scenes of most of the action sequences: a way, for the feature film, to prove that Ryan Gosling actually performed certain stunts, but also to reveal the face of his understudies, a rare thing in Hollywood.

The timely cameo

Finally, The Fall Guy takes us back in time for a scene which recalls the arrest of Tom and Gail Meyer (Hannah Waddingham) by two police officers. Including one who is played by Lee Majors, main actor in the series The Man Who Falls Right, from which the film is inspired. And whose presence was expected.

Hence this sigh and this reply, “Players…”, he who also played a stuntman in the 113 episodes of the series broadcast between 1981 and 1986. A nod certainly pointed but which will not fail to make a smile of the few people who have the reference. And who can explain it to others.
