The fastest monitor in the world is 500 Hz, it is signed BOE

While home consoles finally allow you to play all games in 60 frames per second, sometimes even in 120 fps, the PC world is ahead. Demanding gamers have 360Hz monitors that come in handy for fast-paced, competitive gaming, but manufacturers always want to go further.

And precisely, the Chinese manufacturer BOE (for Beijing Oriental Electronics) has just revealed the fastest monitor in the world, at 500 Hz. This is a 27-inch, 8-bit color model with a 1m response rate, ideal foreSportsbut there is a downside: it is only in Full HD, therefore displaying 1080p at most. It is still worth remembering that this kind of screen is designed for professional competition, players lowering the graphics to have a better frame rateso 1080p is sufficient.

Anyway, this is a first. it’s a prototype. BOE can boast of currently having the fastest PC screen in the world, it is still necessary to have the games and the computer that go with it.
