Internet users then made their choice and Stephane Bern announced that their favorite village was Bergheim (Grand Est), followed by Hesdin (Hauts-de-France) which takes second place.

A magnificent reward for this pretty village of 2000 inhabitants. Thanks to its heritage, its 14th century ramparts, its gate towers, Bergheim has something to seduce. “I am obviously delighted. This award is a source of pride. It highlights the beauty of our village but also the way we maintain it. Our village is really very beautiful: with lots of flowers and decorations that highlight the richness of our heritage. It creates a peaceful, serene atmosphere that appeals to visitors.” said the mayor of the city.
