Since the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC in August, players have regretted that it is impossible to modify the appearance of their character once the adventure has started, unlike what was possible in Divinity Original Sin 2. In the wake of their complaints, Larian Studios quickly spoke out, explaining that the feature would eventually arrive, but that it would take a little time. Thanks to the magic mirror, you will be able to modify his physical attributes, his voice and the pronoun used to designate him. On the other hand, his race and body type cannot be changed, which may still cause some disappointment. The studio specifies that the magic mirror cannot be used to modify an Origin character. Although the feature has some limitations, fans seem happy to have been heard, as their reactions on social media show.

The magic mirror will be available in your camp from the launch of patch 3 of Baldur’s Gate 3, initially scheduled for September 21, but which has been postponed by one day. From now on, players will be looking forward to another very popular mechanic, namely Photo mode. Publication director Michael Douse recently confided that it was already “ on the list ” things to do.
