Earlier this week, a woman was banned from entering the Musée d'Orsay because of a cleavage deemed too deep. This Sunday, the Femen demonstrated inside the building to denounce this abuse.

This Sunday, the Femen organized a demonstration in the Musée d'Orsay, reports Le Figaro. At the end of the morning, the feminist group invested the central aisle, bare breasts, masked faces and displaying messages on their torsos. We could read there "this is not obscene" or "obscene because of you" ("obscene because of you" in French).

The Femens demonstrated in the establishment following an affair which caused a stir in its last days. Jeanne, 22, was refused entry to the Musée d'Orsay because of her cleavage. "I barely have time to get my ticket out, when an agent looks at me as well as my dress and my breasts. She says to me: 'ah no, this is not going to be possible, THAT is not going to pass" https://www.aufeminin.com/ ", she told us. The young woman was finally forced to cover herself in order to enter the building: "The problem is my breasts. It was so embarrassing because everyone was looking at me. I felt naked. I still wanted to go into the museum so I covered myself, but it was so humiliating, to have to put my jacket back on and close it ".

Under the eyes of visitors, the Femens chanted in the large room of the museum slogans such as "Obscenity is in your eyes!" and "This is not obscene!", before coming out applauding. As a reminder, following this affair, the Musée d'Orsay had apologized to Jeanne: "We learned of an incident that occurred with a visitor when she entered the Musée d'Orsay. We deeply regret this and offer our apologies to the person concerned that we contact ".
