The documentary film “The Last Twelve Days” shows Roger Federer’s emotional farewell to professional tennis. The trailer is now here.

“Hopefully I won’t need tissues – but I’m an emotional guy, you never know.”

These are Roger Federer’s words shortly before he records the statement with which he announces his retirement from professional tennis to the world on Instagram on September 15, 2022.

Premiere on 10 June

“Twelve Final Days” will premiere on June 10 at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. The film will then be shown on the streaming service Amazon Prime.

The scene can be seen in the newly released trailer for the documentary film “Federer: Twelve Final Days”. This film follows the “Maestro” up close during his last “working days” up to his farewell match at the Laver Cup.

The trailer announces that the personal recordings were not originally intended for publication. And indeed, one gets the impression that one might be able to glimpse behind Federer’s always professional facade for a few moments.
