PS Plus Premium has leaked a first game for June 2024, and it’s a true classic for an entire generation of players. As a bonus, this new release would be a big first for Sony!
Every month, PS Plus adds many games to its catalogs. Subscribers to PS Plus Extra & Premium generally have plenty to do, even if a good number of other games leave the service at the same time. In May, it was a real massacre. But here, we’re here for the good news and we’re talking about additions. A first game from June was revealed in advance following a leak and fans of classic games are in for a treat. Incidentally, the release of this new game will mark a great first for Sony and PlayStation, so not bad at all.
A first PS Plus Premium game from June 2024 has leaked!
Following a leak spotted on PlayStation Store promotion tracking sites, a PS2 classic has been discovered. It is Star Wars: The Clone Wars, a game which will have marked a lot of young people at its time. It’s a rather explosive action game that allows us to play as great heroes of the franchise during the events that take place just after Episode 2.
We will therefore participate in the famous Clone Wars and we will have to do no less than 16 missions to fight them in the four corners of the galaxy. The game offers clashes on the ground and in the air in the shoes of legendary heroes like Anakin Skywalker or Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu. On the ground, we will be able to pilot famous vehicles like the AT-XT, or even play the Force with Anakin during a few scattered sequences. Ships are also there for aerial combat, of course.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars is therefore scheduled for next month if all goes well. This release is also a great first for Sony since it will be the very first PS2 game to be fully emulated, as with classic PS1 games for example. In doing so, a PS5 and PS4 version of the game will be available on June 11 with all the improvements that go with it. We therefore expect better rendering, or even features such as quick and/or on-the-fly saving, as well as rewinding. Star Wars: The Clone Wars should therefore arrive with the wave of classic games reserved for PS Plus Premium subscribers by June 11.
