Microsoft and Xbox have just revealed the list of the latest games added to Xbox Game Pass in May 2024. They also took the opportunity to confirm the first games for June.
The weather is not good at Xbox. After the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard, the company is struggling to consolidate its costs while Xbox Game Pass is losing subscribers, sales of the latest console are below expectations. Ultimately, four studios paid the price, including Tango Gameworks (Hi-Fi Rush) and Arkane Austin (Redfall). The Redmond firm is then looking for new solutions to improve its cash flow and this could involve increasing the prices of the service, which would not come at the expense of its quality. By this, mean that the day one releases will still be relevant no matter what, Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, having promised “other big games” from their studios by the end of the year. Until then, the Xbox Game Pass continues its usual little routine, with the arrival of a particularly anticipated exclusive.
New Xbox Game Pass games for May 2024
The new arrivals of Xbox Game Pass for May 2024 have just been announced. The month started off in style with the addition of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and the excellent Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, available today. In terms of new features, we had to look to Little Kitty, Big City, a sort of fusion between Untitled Goose Game and Goat Simulator, but with an adorable cat. The game that all subscribers are waiting for, however, is Senua’s Saga Hellblade 2 which already promises to be a real technical showcase for the Xbox Series. An exclusive to discover on May 21, but Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also be able to discover a few other games to wait. Here is the program for the last weeks of May 2024:

The first games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass from June 2024
It’s happening more and more, but Microsoft also took the opportunity to reveal the first two games that will integrate the service next month. We also know that Still Wake the Deep, the new production of The Chinese Room (Everybody’s gone to the Rapture) will also be available upon its release in Xbox Game Pass. Month of Summer Game Fest obliges, we will have to expect small surprise additions during the various conferences which will liven up this summer period.
