The production introduced the new Holy Fire rule Firstly. A way to put individual strategy back at the heart of Koh-Lanta, placing physical performance and alliances slightly behind. And for this new season, another change takes place. As viewers will realize very quickly, the allocation of teams will not happen immediately. Indeed, the production has chosen to leave the 20 adventurers an evening, a night and a morning all together, before the teams are formed. This is not an unprecedented rule, it has already been applied several times in the game’s history, but rarely.
And let it be said, this evening spent at 20 will have repercussions on the whole adventure, precisely because of the strategic element of the Sacred Fire. This is what Denis Brogniart told us during the season presentation conference. “The first night on Koh-Lanta is special, always disturbing for adventurers.
