The Flambeau: Jonathan Cohen parodies Koh Lanta in the trailer for season 2 of La Flamme

Season 2 of “La Flamme”, renamed for the occasion “Le Torch: les aventuriers de Chupacabra” is revealed in a first trailer which sees Marc face 15 other adventurers to ensure his survival.

More than a year and a half after the release of La Flamme, the event series created by Jonathan Cohen and Jérémie Galan returns for a new burst of episodes in May on Canal+.

While the first season made fun of The Bachelor type dating shows, this season 2, renamed for the occasion Le Flambeau: the adventurers of Chupacabra, this time parodies TF1’s flagship show, Koh Lanta.

If at the end of the first season Marc had found love in the arms of Orchidée (Youssef Hajdi), our hero returns single in what he thinks is a new dating show.

A big surprise will await him since he finds himself facing 15 other candidates that he will have to face to survive in a hostile environment. Physical trials, mental manipulations and emotional betrayals will be the ingredients of this tropical cocktail.

As with La Flamme, Le Flambeau, which has just been revealed in a first trailer, takes up all the key codes of survival shows. But who will be the big winner of the €450? Answer in the coming weeks on Canal +.

On the casting side, Géraldine Nakache, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Leïla Bekhti, Ana Girardot, Camille Chamoux, Ramzy Bedia and Pierre Niney, who portrayed some of the most emblematic characters of season 1, will resume their roles in Le Flambeau to the delight of fans. .

New names will also be added to this list to complete the gallery of adventurers, among whom we can find Natacha Lindinger (Sam), Jonathan Lambert, Kad Merad, Mister V, Laura Felpin, Thomas Scimeca (Les Grands), Gérard Darmon and Sébastien Chassagne (The Substitute).

The actor and humorist Jérôme Commandeur will slip into the shoes of the flagship presenter of Le Flambeau, thus succeeding the character of the deadpan host held by Vincent Dedienne.

Find Le Flambeau: the adventurers of Chupacabra from May on Canal+. For latecomers, or those who would like to dive back into Marc’s first adventures, La Flamme is already available in full on MyCANAL.
