PARIS (Reuters) – Former Frontex boss Fabrice Leggeri will occupy third place on the list led by the president of the National Rally, Jordan Bardella, in view of the European elections on June 9, the party announced on Saturday.

The 55-year-old senior official headed the European Union Border Agency from 2015 to 2022, before resigning.

“Fabrice Leggeri was forced to resign because he acted against the submersion of Europe,” writes Jordan Bardella on his X account, formerly Twitter.

The two men will go to the Franco-Italian border in the Alpes-Maritimes on Monday, announced the party of double finalist in the presidential election Marine Le Pen.
