The last three games of this year 2023 offered to PlayStation Plus members have arrived. On the program, running, bricks, pressure-free cleaning and a contemplative adventure.
The last games offered with PS Plus of the year have arrived. This year, Sony has once again offered some very nice selections over the months, but for some time now subscribers have been intransigent with the publisher. And for good reason, they have suffered the full brunt of a price increase which can rise to almost 35% in certain cases. Obviously, the selections that were honest in the past seem a little weak today, but that remains a bonus for them. And today there are three new games that they can get at no additional cost thanks to their PlayStation Plus subscription.
December 2023 PS Plus games are here
The holiday season is fast approaching. To conclude the year, Sony is offering all PS Plus subscribers a new trio of “free” games starting today. A frankly honest selection, which will have the merit of highlighting several genres in order to satisfy everyone’s tastes. Headlining, the open world car game from LEGO. Alongside it is the stress-relieving and surprising experience that was one of the phenomena of last year: PowerWash Simulator. Finally, for a little contemplative break, PlayStation is banking on Sable, a title that stands out thanks to its artistic direction inspired by the works of Mœbius. Here is a short presentation of the three new games offered for all PS Plus subscribers until January 2, 2024.
LEGO 2k Drive
Head to Bricklandia, an open world entirely made of bricks. In this crazy universe, you are free to rush everywhere aboard a car that you have entirely built and personalized. Take part in races, battle against crazy drivers and try to win the coveted Celestial Trophy in story mode. A PS Plus game for the whole family, which was widely shared upon its release due to a slightly too strong emphasis on the cosmetics store and its microtransactions in order to encourage purchase. LEGO 2K Drive nonetheless remains a fun and enjoyable game to play with family or friends.
PowerWash Simulator, the PS Plus gem for December 2023
Who knew cleaning would be fun? Square Enix obviously, which has signed one of the phenomena of summer 2022. PowerWash Simulator offers you to relieve the pressure by swapping your guns and sabers for a high pressure cleaner which will allow you to remove all the dirt that will be found on your way. A truly relaxing and surprising experience, which also offers numerous DLCs like popular licenses. Tomb Raider, FF7 Remake or even Back to the Future, it’s up to you to clean up the iconic places of pop culture. We can’t recommend it enough, it might be your little surprise from this PS Plus in December 2023.
Sand
Sable is the contemplative game of this trio. The title invites you to follow the initiatory journey of its heroine. Travel across immense deserts, wander through captivating landscapes adorned with shipwrecks and vestiges of a distant past, and speak with the natives who inhabit these unique lands. Gameplay-wise, this December 2023 PS Plus game doesn’t offer much other than a few platform phases. On the other hand, he will amaze you with his artistic direction, which is a real success. The title unfortunately suffered from serious optimization and technical issues at launch, which have since been largely corrected.
