The PS Plus Extra and Premium games are here. Another very good month? Subscribers don’t agree, but there are some excellent games in the mix.
Sony is set like a watch. Since the PS Plus redesign, the Japanese publisher has been stuck in a little routine. The first Tuesday of each month, PlayStation Plus Essential games. Then, a few weeks later, halfway through the month, the additions of the Extra and Premium offers are announced. They then arrive the following Tuesday. Always on time, the manufacturer has just rolled out the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games and there are a few gems in the lot.
PS Plus Extra and Premium games are available
The PS Plus Extra therefore now welcomes eight new games while the Premium formula is exceptionally entitled to five new additions. Quite timid entries, considered too weak in the eyes of users who are still having difficulty digesting the sudden increase in prices last September. However, there is a little nugget in this new selection not to be missed: Superliminal. A title that cleverly plays on you by distorting your perception of reality using optical illusions to create twisted and ingenious first-person puzzles. A gamer- and critically-acclaimed indie game that you can now try as part of your PS Plus Extra subscription.
RPG fans will not be left out, with two productions aimed directly at them. On the one hand, Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, a rather popular action-RPG, based on a dynamic combat system and where you must build your own city. On the other, Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen, the first part of the saga which will return in 2024. This open world game presents itself as a successful mix of RPG and action, thanks to particularly dynamic game mechanics. For the time, it was quite innovative with the possibility of climbing on larger creatures or even the possibility of creating your own traveling companions and then sharing them online so that other players could play with them. A striking game in its own way and its arrival is perfect to prepare for the arrival of Dragon’s Dogma 2 next year.
Some nuggets on the program
For the rest of the PS Plus Extra games for November 2023, we will notably note Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition and Nobunaga’s Ambition Taishi for those who like the genre. On the PlayStation Plus Premium side, five new features arrived today. We find the cult RPG Grandia, the excellent PaRappa the Rapper 2 and even the adaptation of Là-Haut which was the subject of a leak. Without further ado, here are all the additions of the day:
