The French company Thales wins a major contract for the American army.








Thales has won a ten-year contract to deliver advanced tactical radios to the US Army. It is one of two suppliers in a deal worth $6 billion overall, the French defense group said on Monday.

“This contract was awarded as part of an (US military) effort to retire its obsolete single-channel land and airport radio system,” Thales said in a statement.
