PARIS (Reuters) – The French embassy in Ukraine will return to Kyiv “very soon” after being moved to Lviv in early March following Russia’s military offensive, the French foreign ministry said on Thursday.
“The minister informed his Ukrainian counterpart of the decision taken by the French authorities to redeploy the French embassy in Ukraine to Kyiv from Lviv, where it had been installed since the beginning of March”, declared the Quai d’Orsay in a press release published following a telephone conversation between Jean-Yves Le Drian and Dmitro Kouleba.
“This redeployment will take place very soon (…)”, he adds.
