With the GFX100 II, Fujifilm redefines the field of possibilities. Forget cameras that are too bulky, too heavy, too slow and confined to studios. This medium format is astonishing in more than one way. Previously sluggish in autofocus, the GFX standard takes second place with this GFX100 II, just as capable of following rapid action as it is of perfectly keeping the focus on a subject (portrait, advertising, etc.). All this is accompanied by a burst sufficient to produce THE right image very quickly. If we add a lower price than the first GFX100 of the name, a video score worthy of a very good camera, a truly all-weather construction, significantly improved battery life and a magnificent viewfinder, we obtain an excellent body. Its price places it beyond the reach of ordinary mortals, but it will be largely justified among wealthy professionals or enthusiasts.
