Expected next October, the official presentation of the 14e generation of processors Intel Core desktop shouldn’t tell us much anymore. The entire range has indeed leaked in large widths on X.com (ex-Twitter).

For the surprise effect, it’s a failure. A leaker shared on X.com the entire line of 14 processorse generation Raptor Lake Refresh, which will take over from the current Raptor Lake chips. In addition to confirming the nomenclatures that we anticipated, this leak tells us about the essential specifications of Intel’s new desktop processors.

Specifications not quite final

The table below (disclosed by YuuKi_AnS, a leaker specializing in computer hardware) details the technical characteristics of Intel CPUs of 14e generation. What to have a good idea of what should arrive on the market this fall. But be careful, as stated 3DGuruthese specifications are mostly taken from qualification samples (QS).

Understand that these technical characteristics are not entirely definitive. Intel could still make them evolve slightly between now and launch.

Which chips to expect first?

It should be remembered that Intel most often launches its “K” processors first, before completing the range thus established with the intermediate references “Non-K”, “KF”, “F”, or even “T” (which in particular refer the presence or not of an iGPU, or low consumption configurations).

We should therefore first be confronted with the Core i9-14900K (which has already been talked about), Core i7-14700K and Core i5-14600K, before we can get our hands on the other Raptor Lake Refresh models.

According to the information above:

  • The Core i9-14900K is expected to pack 8 high-performance cores and 16 power-efficient cores, for base frequencies of 3.2 and 2.5 GHz respectively.
  • The Core i7-14700K should include 8 high-performance cores and 12 energy-efficient cores, for base frequencies of 3.4 and 2.5 GHz respectively.
  • The Core i5-14600K, finally, would be limited to 6 high-performance cores and 8 high-efficiency cores, for base frequencies of 3.5 and 2.6 GHz respectively.
