The future of Destiny 2 will be revealed in a showcase in August

Destiny 2 is here to stay for a few more years, and the community seems to be largely on board with each new expansion of the game. Last February, The Witch Queen has already delivered a whole bunch of new features to discover in game, but we know it Bungie wants to keep a frenetic and regular rhythm for its outings. This is why the studio is already giving us an appointment to talk to us about the future of the game, and this in a few weeks.

The new extension revealed in a month?

Bungie informs us thata Destiny 2 Showcase will take place on August 23rd, with a first teaser shown to us above. It should also be remembered that August 23 will be the start of Gamescom as Geoff Keighley will host the Opening Night Livea ceremony usually rich in announcement.

But obviously, Bungie wants to go it alone here, and will do its show on its side. No timetable has been specified at this time. We imagine that it will be to take more time to present things, such as a new extension.

We can also note that this will be the first big speech from the studio after its complete acquisition by Sony. But that the fans of Destiny 2 reassure themselves, the game and its future content will remain multiplatform.
