Who says new high-end Samsung smartphones usually says new photo features. While their launch is not scheduled before February 1, Samsung China has already unveiled two small teasers, relayed by the Ice Universe leaker.

On these, Samsung highlights three photo sensors, presumably those of the Galaxy S23 and S23 +, but also announces the color with regard to the photo performance that can be expected. The Korean manufacturer would have focused this year on night photography, in low light.

The Galaxy S23 promise to see in the dark

Designed for moonlight », « capture the night, even in low light », « great night shots are coming “, can we read in the teaser. Samsung therefore promises that its smartphones will excel in low light, as previous reports have suggested. They would also benefit from a “night vision” mode, allowing them to see in the dark.

In very low light conditions your photos should still be bright enough, but we still expect noise to be present on the shots. We imagine that Samsung has greatly improved its image processing algorithm to manage to harvest as much light as possible at night. Responsible for improving the snaps will also be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which uses a next-generation Spectra coprocessor. The latter is more powerful, and therefore allows you to obtain photos of much better quality.

A second Galaxy S23 teaser highlights it the high definition of the new 200 MP sensor of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. HASfter having used a 108 MP sensor for more than 3 years now on its Galaxy S20 Ultra, S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra, the new Ultra model is equipped with a brand new ISOCELL HM2 sensor from Samsung, the exact technical specifications of which are still unknown.
