The Galaxy S24 FE won’t be released anytime soon, we’ll have to be patient

A recent report contradicts previous rumors which predicted a launch of the Galaxy S24 FE next summer, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. Indeed, it seems that we will have to wait until the fall, or even the next year for the affordable version of the flagship to hit the market.

Galaxy S23 FE

If the Galaxy S24 FE is still relatively little talked about, its existence is in little doubt. Indeed, some rumors about its OLED screen have already reached us, as well as an estimate regarding its release date. According to several sources, the affordable smartphone should be unveiled at the same time as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6, i.e., in accordance with Samsung’s habits, next July or August.

But ultimately it seems that we will have to wait a little longer than that. Indeed, according to the Dutch media Galaxy Club, the Galaxy S24 FE will be released much later in the year. At best, Galaxy Club is planning for the end of fall. But it is very likely that the launch will take place even later, rather towards the end of the year. Even the start of 2025 in the “worst” case.

Finally, the Galaxy S24 would not be released this summer

In reality, this release window seems much more realistic than previously estimated. Indeed, as Galaxy Club notes, Samsung had already opted for this strategy for its Galaxy S23 FE, released at the end of 2023 in certain markets, then at the beginning of 2024 worldwide. It is therefore very likely that his successor will follow the same path. This would explain in particular why leaks about him still remain very discreet.

For now, we still know very little about the affordable smartphone. However, we can imagine that this will mark an improvement compared to the Galaxy S23, in the same way that the Galaxy S23 FE displays better performance than the Galaxy S22. But you will still have to be patient to be sure. Without a doubt, the first information will arrive within a few months.
