This family is grabbing attention — and not just as the stars of their own series, The Geissens — A Terribly Glamorous Family. Even outside of production, the individual family members share intimate impressions of their lives with their followers on Instagram. Now the posts from Mama Carmen Geiss, 57, and her daughters Davina, 19, and Shania, 18, are also causing a stir independently of each other.

Carmen Geiss: topless, but fans look at something completely different

Let your soul dangle, for Robert Geiss’ wife, especially relaxing at the pool in the Maldives. So much so that she’s topless as a sunbather. Only their crossed arms block the view of their followers. Covered up in a pair of patterned bikini bottoms, the mom of two soaked up some rays in the water. That’s all it takes, as she puts it in the caption: “Just be yourself”.

But, her fans are quite surprised about something else. “What happened to the toes?” asks a confused user. Another notes: “You can see on the feet that it has been edited.” In fact, Carmen’s toes look a little deformed, but that may also be due to the reflection in the water. The entrepreneur counters, perhaps even ironically, to a comment: “I edited it” — laughing emojis follow! In the end, only Carmen herself knows whether it is a reflection or really a retouch. One thing is certain: she won’t make anyone sweat.

Davina Geiss: This is where the beams bend

In contrast to Mama Carmen, the two sisters rely on more material. Davina, the older one in the sisters’ association, enjoys the sun’s rays in a blue bikini. Sunglasses perched on the tip of his nose, legs crossed and his hand on his head: Posen definitely runs in the family’s genes. However, the appearance of the 19-year-old is also met with criticism in the comments. Did Davina also help out with Photoshop? A user notes: “Wow, the window bends quite a bit outwards. Definitely because of the sun. Wood works.” Other followers also notice the slight bend in the door frame. The Geissens scion is very undeterred and leaves no room for comments.

Shania Geiss: A lot of criticism — but it’s not because of the editing

The youngest of the bunch poses for her followers in short shorts, a bikini top and a white shirt. Photoshop fails? Not recognizable. It’s raining compliments in the comments! “Incredibly pretty,” reads one column. Flames and other compliments about her figure can also be read. But the splendor in the middle of paradise is also annoying: “You should have a life like that, don’t work and go on vacation,” exclaims a user. Others are bothered by the fact that the 18-year-old is mainly sexualized by older men. “What are these disgusting comments. I’m stunned,” summarizes a follower appropriately.
