Locarno (awp) – The representatives of the 219 Raiffeisen banks accepted on Saturday in Locarno all the proposals of the board of directors during their general meeting. All the directors in particular were reappointed for a period of two years.
Chairman Thomas A. Müller, who had been in charge since the extraordinary general meeting last December, was confirmed in his position with a rate of 96%. In December, he had obtained 76% of the vote, while several media had issued criticism against his past as chief financial officer of the private bank Sarasin, in particular in the controversial affair “cum ex”.
