Japanese director Hirokazu Kore-Eda, who won the Palme d’Or in 2018 for “A Family Affair”, will return to the Cannes Film Festival, which opens this Tuesday, May 17, to present his film “The Good stars”, selected in official competition.
In this family drama, two men illegally retrieve a baby, abandoned by a young woman in the middle of a rainy night, and try to find him a new family. Knowing that the fate of those who meet this child will be profoundly changed.
