Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), also known as “Gray Man”, is the CIA’s top hit man. But when he learns of the dark secrets of the American espionage agency, Gentry himself becomes the hunted. His psychopathic ex-colleague Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans) sets a whole series of assassins and contract killers on him. Only agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) supports the “Gray Man”.

In addition to the already mentioned superstars Ryan Gosling (“Blade Runner 2049”), Chris Evans (Captain America in the Marvel Universe) and Ana de Armas (“James Bond 007: No Time To Die”), “The Gray Man” also ” Bridgerton” star Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton (“Fargo”), Jessica Henwick (“Matrix Resurrections”) and Wagner Moura (“Narcos”) in front of the camera.
Co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo are also known from the MCU. They have already directed Avengers: Endgame, Infinity War, The First Avenger: Civil War and The Return of the First Avenger.
With a reported budget in excess of $200 million, “The Gray Man” is the most expensive Netflix film to date. If the action agent blockbuster goes down well with users, a whole film franchise in the style of super spy James Bond is also planned.
