While the Vision Pro will be launched within a few days in the United States, Apple is now working on a launch in other markets by next summer. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a renowned analyst, Apple hopes to release its headset in other countries before WWDC 2024, which is expected to take place in early June.

For now, Apple has several challenges to overcome before it can launch the Vision Pro globally. The company must ensure that the device meets the regulatory standards of different countries. For example, the device will require corrective lenses for some users, and the process of obtaining and fitting these lenses may vary from region to region. Additionally, the device will use advanced algorithms to process visual data, and Apple may need to modify them to comply with the privacy and security laws of different jurisdictions.

The Vision Pro will arrive before summer 2024

These constraints could affect the availability and price of the Vision Pro in different markets, according to Kuo. The latter claims that Apple will produce up to 600,000 units of the device in 2024, of which only 80,000 will be available on the American market at launch. With so few copies, we imagine that this one will be out of stock very quickly.

Kuo therefore expects Apple to launch the Vision Pro in at least a few countries outside the US before June 2024, ahead of the WWDC 2024 eventduring which Apple will likely reveal more details about VisionOS and its capabilities.

Potential markets that Apple could target include the United Kingdom, Canada and China, according to a previous report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who also said that it won’t be long before the global launch of the device. We also hope to see the helmet arrive in France at the same timesince it is an important market for Apple.

It now remains to be seen at what price it will arrive here. With a starting price of $3,499 in the United States, expect the helmet exceeds the 4000 euros mark in France once taxes are added. At this price, many fans might be hesitant to take the plunge.
