Fan, wind machine, refrigerator or air conditioner?
Which device should you buy? Fan and wind machine are inexpensive to buy and ensure rapid cooling. However, you only cool the room down selectively and the effect is mostly short-lived.
A cooling device or an air conditioning system, on the other hand, constantly cools down the room temperature. Sometimes they also filter the air. However, the devices are more expensive to buy and usually take up a lot of space. In rented apartments, it is usually not easy to install fixed air conditioning systems.
If you only sweat during heat waves, a fan or wind machine should be sufficient. If you generally feel uncomfortable at higher temperatures, you should think about purchasing an air conditioner. By the way, with a little manual skill you can build your own air conditioning system.
