The highlights – fair sweet and sour: turning point at the Paris Motor Show

It’s as if the big European automakers are surrendering the field to those from the Middle Kingdom without a fight. The Paris Motor Show, once one of the leading trade fairs, has shrunk to two halls (plus one for suppliers & Co), of the established car manufacturers (apart from Jeep and Dacia) only the French are there, and not all of them. Citroen skips the home game that was once so significant for the brand. This is where the legendary DS once had its first public appearance. The DS brand is exhibiting, among other things, a design finger exercise and the facelift of the DS3 e-tense) with improved drive (156 instead of 136 hp, 54 instead of 50 kWh battery, 400 instead of 341 km range).
