Hisense is still looking for a successor to the very good U7QF of 2020. So make way for the new U7HQ model which swaps the VA panel for a 120 Hz IPS panel, while retaining a Full Led backlighting system whose number of zones has been greatly reduced.
The Hisense 55U7QF seems far away with its VA panel and its Full Led system with almost 100 zones… this Hisense 55U7HQ television is content with a Full Led backlighting system with only 32 zones and above all an IPS panel. You thus have the choice between faded blacks when the dynamic backlighting system is deactivated or, conversely, a blooming (halo effect around light areas on a dark background) which is far too present. If we add to this a very limited brightness peak (especially for a Full Led model), the TV loses a lot of interest. It’s a shame, especially since this TV has a good calibration of the panel and very good skills for video games (low afterglow time and display delay).

The Hisense 55A85G is a good Oled TV that suffers from comparison with the competition. Indeed, it displays a peak in brightness set back compared to other OLED televisions on the market and a perfectible calibration in HDR. Add to that the lack of 4K 120 Hz compatibility and it logically loses a star compared to its direct competitors. However, it displays a perfectly calibrated image in SDR and an infinite contrast specific to the Oled. It is therefore ideal for lovers of cinema or TV series.
