The first Hisense Oled TV we tested, the 55A85G, narrowly missed out on the fourth star due to a lower brightness peak than other OLED models on the market, a bit high display lag and the lack of an HDMI connection supporting 4K 120 Hz signals. Good news, the Oled A85H corrects all these small flaws while adding a more advanced 60 W 3.1.2 audio system, including two speakers facing the ceiling for improve Dolby Atmos and DTS:X spatialization.

The Hisense 55A85H.

The Hisense 55A85H and 65A85H thus embark a new Oled EX panel from LG Display supposed to display a maximum peak brightness of around 800 cd / m². Displaying an Ultra HD definition, it still covers almost 100% of the DCI-P3 color space used in cinema and 70% of Rec.2020. Of course, it retains all the qualities of Oled with infinite contrast, very open viewing angles and instantaneous response time.

The HDMI 2.1 connector is now compatible with 4K 120 Hz signals, VRR including AMD FreeSync Premium and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) for automatic display delay reduction. Like the A85G of 2021, this television has a practical rotating foot and still quite rare on Oled models (only Panasonic and Philips offer it). The Hisense A85H is also compatible with all HDR formats, including Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+. Last year’s A85G disappointed us a little with its HDR calibration, and we hope this model will do better.

On the system side, we find Vidaa U in its 4.0 version, an operating system that is starting to stand out from the competition, in particular thanks to the absence of advertising and a certain responsiveness, while Tizen and webOS are doing the opposite. , being more and more loaded and therefore less swift. Vidaa U can now count on MyCanal and Molotov in addition to the classic Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime and Disney+.

Currently sold for €1,290 in the 55-inch version and €1,790 in the 65-inch version, this television benefits from a reimbursement offer of €300 on the 55-inch and €200 on the 65-inch, i.e. respective prices of €990 and €1,590 rather attractive at the moment, since the LG 55C1 is becoming increasingly rare and the LG 55C2 is sold for around 1400 €.
