Honor has just released its new foldable smartphone Honor Magic V Flip. And the least we can say is that we are dealing with a very beautiful machine!

In the field of folding phones, it is currently difficult to do better than the devices produced by Samsung. The Korean giant will thus present its new Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 next month, which should once again impose a new standard in the field. And unfortunately, there is little competition to these devices, with the notable exception of China, as demonstrated by the Honor Magic V Flip.

A superb technical sheet

This Thursday, June 13, Honor presented its new foldable smartphone, the Honor Magic V Flip. A superb foldable device, which resembles the Galaxy Z Flip – with a more airy look. Judge for yourself: the device weighs only 193 grams, and is barely 7.15 mm thick when opened! A successful aesthetic which is accompanied by a very solid technical sheet:

  • 6.8 inch indoor screen, 4 inch outdoor screen;
  • Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC;
  • 4,800 mAh battery;
  • 256, 512 GB or 1,024 TB memory;
  • 12 or 16 GB RAM;
  • 50+12 MP dual rear camera, 50 MP front camera;
  • Android 14.

The Honor Magic V Flip has a very attractive price

Very attractive features when compared with the Galaxy Z Flip, particularly with the 4,800 mAh battery, which promises better autonomy than its competitor from Samsung.

But the most interesting thing is not there yet. Indeed, the Honor Magic V Flip offers a quality/price ratio that is unfortunately inaccessible here. The basic 12+256 GB version is therefore marketed at a price of 4,999 yuan (or 642 euros), with a price which then increases, with the 16 GB+1 TB version costing 5,999 yuan (772 euros).

For those who are interested, it should be noted that for the moment, the phone is only available on the Chinese market. And Honor has not communicated about possible marketing abroad!
