The House of the Dead: Remake, a release date and a new trailer for the Switch-exclusive re-release

MegaPixel and Forever Entertainment have joined forces for the development of The House of the Dead: Remakea modernization of rail shooter cult in 1997. The project was announced during a Nintendo Direct in April 2021, then for a release in the year, but was still expected since.

That the curious are reassured, the project is not forgotten. It will even come to fruition soon, allowing you to enjoy improved graphics and controls, multiple endings, a mode Photoweapons to unlock, a Gallery of illustrations to fill in and the possibility of playing 2 locally. Trailer in support, its release date has just been set for April 7, 2022currently exclusive to Switch.

The launch will first take place on theeShopwhere pre-orders will open on March 31, but physical and collector’s editions are for the record planned for later thanks to Microids. The following The House of the Dead 2 should also be entitled to its remake in the coming months, if the plans have not changed.
