Olli Schulz and Fynn Kliemann have documented their project around Gunter Gabriel's houseboat. The documentary can be seen on Netflix from March.

In the new documentary series "Das Hausboot", Netflix viewers Olli Schulz (47, "Feelings from the Ashes") and Fynn Kliemann (32) will be able to see how they are restoring Germany's perhaps most famous houseboat. For two years, the musicians worked on Gunter Gabriel's (1942-2017) old houseboat, with the aim of transforming it into an oasis for artists.

In four episodes, "Das Hausboot" offers viewers exclusive insights into the making-of, the transformation of the houseboat that Gunter Gabriel lived in for 20 years, and the development of a flourishing friendship between men. "If there is someone who wants to revamp this boat with me and who can do it too, then – I thought to myself – it is Fynn Kliemann", explains Olli Schulz.

The vision for the new houseboat was quickly clear: You want to create a place that is both a concert location and a music studio, but also a place of retreat. But the first problems quickly came up, as well as differences between the two new friends. The whole thing can be seen in "Das Hausboot" from March 9, 2021 on Netflix.
