The Huawei P60 and P60 Pro could be unveiled as early as March

As we slowly approach the first anniversary of the P50 and P50 Pro in France, rumors are becoming clearer about the announcement of their successors. The P60 and P60 Pro could be revealed by March, and thanks to some indiscretions, their technical sheet is gradually being revealed.

As expected, the two smartphones should benefit from high-end features, like what Huawei has been able to do for years. Thus, the P60 Pro would carry a 6.6-inch Oled panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a definition of 3200 x 1440 pixels. A punch would be drilled there to integrate a 32-megapixel front photo module. No information has filtered regarding the panel of the classic P60, but chances are that it is not so far from the Pro model.

It is in the photo that the two smartphones should be illustrated. The P60 Pro would continue what started with the P50 Pro by offering a 50-megapixel main module (the new Sony IMX888) combined with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (IMX858). For telephoto, it would be the return of the 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B. For the P60 model, Huawei would plan to integrate a 52 megapixel model (IMX789), always accompanied by an ultra wide-angle of 50 megapixels (IMX858). Finally, a 16-megapixel telephoto lens would be included on this model as well. For the software part, the XMAGE in-house processing, inaugurated on the Mate 50 Pro, should be back.

In terms of performance, the Pro model would be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in a 4G version. A nice improvement over the Snapdragon 888 4G that powered the P50 Pro. For the battery, a 5500 mAh accumulator would be provided with a 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charge. Not a word about the P60, but most likely it will inherit the same features. Finally, it could be that the two P60s have an IP68 standard and are able to connect to satellite networks (via the Chinese Beidou constellation). Even if, as GSM Arena points out, this option may only be available in China at first.
