It’s hard to stand out in the galaxy of connected watches. Yet technologically accomplished, theAppleWatch or even the Samsung GalaxyWatch offer broadly similar functionality. This is why the manufacturer Huawei has decided to approach a completely different segment of the market with its future Watch GT3 Pro…

Expected to be unveiled at the end of this month of April, in just a few days, find out everything we know about the Huawei Watch GT3 Pro!

A connected watch designed to stand out… in the water!

It is more precisely on April 28 that Huawei will unveil the Watch GT3 Pro. And the least we can say is that this connected watch does not seem to want to titillate an already busy market. On the contrary, Huawei seems rather determined to attract a very specific clientele: diving enthusiasts!

Indeed, the water resistance of this watch is currently the main axis of attack in Huawei’s communication. Ticking all kinds of certification boxes related to its waterproofness, the future connected watch stands out above all for its ability to allow divers to go up to 30 meters deep. Thus, the Chinese manufacturer is aimed at a new audience, since, as a reminder, the Watch GT2 Pro was only designed for activities in shallow waters. Enough to get a new clientele, although this one seems to be limited to a niche despite everything.

The target clientele of this connected watch is very clearly defined. However, it is important to specify that the GT3 Pro will not run under WearOS, but under LiteOS, which therefore greatly limits its functionality. Finally, note that it will most likely not be marketed outside of Chinese territory. Let’s hope it still has a few other surprises in store for us, beyond its diving features.
