The young man aged 18 years old was last seen surrounded by his friends in the La Morinière club, apparently drunk, and against which his parents decided to file a complaint because he had been excluded around 2:30 a.m. The videos from the establishment’s surveillance cameras did not make it possible to understand how the evening ended for Erwan.

A major effort was deployed to try to find Erwan after his family reported his disappearance and an investigation was opened on Monday February 12. Without any news since, his loved ones plunged into despair then tried to appeal to as many people as possible earlier in the week. “I call on each of you to take an initial citizen mobilization to find Erwan, or a clue that will lead us to him. We know today, as in the affair of little Émile, that even after several weeks elements can be discovered”they asked, referring to the macabre discovery near the town of Vernet on Saturday March 30, which led to the understanding that young Émile was indeed dead nine months after his disappearance was reported.
