As for Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, it is for a completely different story that it is now in the spotlight. Indeed, just after his election in his region, Agathe Cauet answered questions from The voice of the North and took this opportunity to reveal that she had faced serious health problems a few years ago.
When she was only 17 years old, the one who now has 23 had to fight against “a tumor 9 kg bordeline” who left a scar on her stomach. “I was in final year, I was hospitalized at Oscar-Lambret. The doctors had prepared me for the worst with, in particular, possible chemotherapy” she reported. Finally, the operation was enough and Agathe Cauet was cured. This experience helped make her thenurse that she is today. Employed at the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital in Lille, she explained to our colleagues that she had wanted “to help” in turn, particularly sensitive to “human side” of the medical team that had accompanied her when she needed them. “I graduated in 2020, I found myself in the Covid unit of Saint-Vincent. It was complicated, I was 21, there were a lot of deaths, the service of Saint-Philibert was saturated but I was fully into it.
