MOSCOW (Reuters) – The independent Russian radio Echo of Moscow, hitherto tolerated by the Kremlin, has been dissolved by its board of directors, its editor Alexei Venediktov announced.

This decision stems from a decision by the General Prosecutor’s Office of Russia asking to restrict access to this radio station as well as to the website of the Dojd television channel because of their coverage of events in Ukraine.
