Released almost a year ago, the indie gem Sea of Stars had won over players. But the adventure is not over for Zale and Valere, and Sabotage Studios tells us more.
While Sea of Stars offered a beautiful ending to the adventure of Zale and Valere, the Children of the Solstice, Sabotage Studio was not yet finished with its brilliant vision of the J-RPG. A new mode had been announced last March, and another nice surprise continues its little man of development.
Sea of Stars still intends to put stars in our eyes
Released on August 29, 2023, Sea of Stars has in itself created a very nice surprise in the small world of independent games. After The Messenger, a retro 2D platformer of excellent quality, Sabotage Studio took on the challenge of offering its own vision of the J-RPG, with illustrious inspirations such as Mario RPG. Funded via Kickstarter, the title had already gathered many fans before its release, and the attempt was brilliantly transformed. But the talented independent studio was clearly not finished with its latest gem. A co-op mode for up to three and a DLC are indeed still in the works, and they have finally given us some news.
On the official Sea of Stars X.com account, Sabotage Studio has indeed responded to fans eager to return to this world as colorful as it is enchanting. We learn that, despite a long radio silence, the development of these new features is progressing well. The studio also promises to say more later in the year. While the independent title will blow out its first candle on August 29, a potential date in this sense would already be found. Unless the developers wait for the next solstice, which will however not take place until December. That is to say more or less close to the anniversary of its physical edition, released at the beginning of this year. The answers to these questions are therefore for the moment only in the stars.
