The Inquisitor: the story told by puppets in a new trailer

The Dust And Kalypso Media continue to highlight The Inquisitor, a third-person action role-playing game based on the novels by Jacek Piekara and his character of Biting Madderdin, a fictional inquisitor living in an alternate version of our Middle Ages. The title is now entitled to a new trailer:

After a very short sequence of gameplay very rigid, but from a version under development, we are entitled to a puppet show that looks back on the rather special story of The Inquisitor. The title takes place as Jesus Christ survived his crucifixion on Golgotha by the legionaries. So far, nothing out of the ordinary, but instead of forgiving your neighbour, Jesus decided to take revenge on non-believers. The adventure of the game begins around 1500 AD. J.-C. while Inquisitors full of zeal make reign of terror in the name of Sacred Law.

The player will embody Bite Madderdinservant of God responding to the orders of the Grand Bishop of Hez Hezron and going to Koenigstein, a city full of vices, to apply the Law of God there and investigate cases of corruption and crimes, in particular by looking for clues and questioning suspects (even if it means jostling them a little). A kind of The Witcher-like revisiting the catholic religion for the less original.

The Inquisitor does not yet have a precise release date, it will arrive however during the fourth quarter of 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. You can find other video games on Gamesplanet.
