Starward Industries and 11 bit studios are back with a new video to reveal a little more about their project, The Invincible. A pure sci-fi adventure, the game is based on the novel of the same name, written by author and futurist Stanislaw Lem. Scheduled to be released on PC via Steam, but also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, the title should see the light of day in 2023.
In The Invincible, players will be able to take on the role of Yasna, a highly skilled astrobiologist. The latter is sent on a scientific mission to Regis III, a still unknown and sinister-looking planet. His mission is to find out what lurks on the planet’s hostile surface. But the mission will take a completely different turn when Yasna’s crew disappears. Things will then quickly spiral out of control. The phenomena that the scientist will have to face next could well change your view of life and death, among other things. What if, after all, humanity was not at the pinnacle of evolution as many believe today.
In the latest trailer titled Life On Regis III, 11 bit studio gives us a first look at life on Regis III. At first glance, the planet seems calm with breathtaking idyllic landscapes. The notable absence of animals, whether herbivores or predators, should allow easy and pleasant exploration. However, you will soon realize that appearances are deceiving on Regis III and that life turns out to be much more complicated than it appears on the surface.
