What is this Apple tablet?
The iPad 10 is Apple’s latest basic tablet, and already dates from 2022. This version still remains an excellent slate today, and unlike the iPad 9, has not aged from a design point of view . Gone are the borders around the screen, as well as the Touch ID button. The panel breathes and offers excellent immersion, in a tablet with dimensions of 179.5 × 248.6 × 7 mm. The 10.9-inch LCD screen offers a resolution of 1640 × 2360 pixels. Without matching an Oled panel, the iPad 10 has excellent brightness and good contrasts.
The size and quality of the screen are perfect for surfing or watching films and series on your SVOD platforms, especially with True Tone technology which limits eye fatigue in the evening. In terms of performance, the A14 Bionic chip allows great fluidity, despite a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It is not the best tablet for games, but most titles will still run without problem. Note that you have the option of pairing an external speaker for better sound, although the audio is of good quality.
Is the iPad 10 a good deal during the sales?
The iPad 10 for less than €450 is a very good deal. It can be used for professional use, but is not the best model. It only works with the Magic Keyboard Folio, more expensive than the classic keyboard, and the first generation Apple Pencil. The latter connects via Lightning, whereas the tablet does not. You will therefore need to use an adapter. In terms of connectivity, note that the iPad 10 has a USB-C socket to accommodate an external drive.
Finally, count on a little more than a day of autonomy, even in the case of intensive use, otherwise up to several days. The 20 W block allows the tablet to regain 100% battery in 2 hours.
