In France, the prices of the iPhone 14 will soar compared to those of the iPhone 13. All models would suffer a price increase of 120 euros. And this year, there will be no iPhone 14 mini to hope to pay less.

The iPhone 14 series is about to be revealed by Apple, which will announce its new smartphones on September 7.

Price hike for the iPhone 14

Their data sheet and new features are mostly known thanks to the numerous leaks of the various expected models. Some rumors also mentioned a price increase compared to the previous generation, and this trend seems to be confirmed.

The website iPhon.fr indicates having received from a source the pricing of the iPhone 14 for the French market, supporting documents. For the first time, Apple would not offer any iPhone in its main range below the 1,000 euro mark.

  • iPhone 14: 1,029 euros in 128 GB, 1,149 euros in 256 GB and 1,379 euros in 512 GB;
  • iPhone 14 Max: 1,129 euros in 128 GB, 1,249 euros in 256 GB and 1,479 euros in 512 GB;
  • iPhone 14 Pro: 1,279 euros in 128 GB, 1,399 euros in 256 GB and 1,629 euros in 512 GB;
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max: 1,379 euros in 128 GB, 1,499 euros in 256 GB and 1,729 euros in 512 GB.

No iPhone 14 mini to lower the bill

As a reminder, the iPhone 13 was sold from 909 euros when it was released, an increase of 120 euros on the basic model. This is dramatic inflation, as Apple is rumored to deprive non-Pro iPhone 14 models of a next-gen chip to recycle its A15 Bionic SoC from last year.

For the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, we see this same increase of 120 euros compared to their predecessors. There will be no iPhone 14 mini this year, replaced by an iPhone 14 Max. This model will suit users who want a large screen, but who are not necessarily interested in the photo improvements provided by an iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Moreover, the iPhone 14 Pro should finally abandon the notch to adopt a pill-shaped punch design. Faster charging and Always On functionality should also be coming across the series.
