The iPhone 15 Pro could see their prices propelled to more than 1500 €

The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are expected at the turn, and rumors are already circulating about them. The latest concerns their price, a sensitive issue that should cause a lot of ink to flow. According to Jeff Pu (via MacRumors), a senior analyst at valuation firm Haitong International Securities, the two most premium next-gen models could see a price increase. A first since the release of the iPhone X in 2017.

In France, the iPhone 14 had already suffered a price increase compared to previous models. Apple had justified it by inflation, but above all by the exchange rate between the euro and the dollar. Across the Atlantic, the Pro model was however still displayed at 999 €. However, this symbolic limit should be exceeded, even in the United States.

The analyst believes that this hypothetical price increase would be induced by a revised technical sheet. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max could thus benefit from the new A17 Bionic chip, more RAM but also a new haptic feedback system and an even more efficient periscopic lens. All in a titanium frame of the most beautiful effect. If these innovations are proven, it is indeed difficult to see the Cupertino company not pass them on to the consumer.

Also remember that the four iPhone 15s expected should have a USB Type-C port and the Dynamic Island function. Jeff Pu does not give a precise figure, since it is impossible to know the margins targeted by Apple. But we can expect an increase of between $50 and $100 on both models. In France, prices for the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max start at €1,329 and €1,479 respectively. This means that the next version of the Pro Max, or even the Pro, would easily exceed 1500 € in our regions. A particularly high price, which is likely to make people cringe.
