Virginie Ledoyen (The island of 30 coffins): “I was fascinated by the strangeness of this island”
In an interview with our colleagues from Télé 7 Jours, Virginie Ledoyen explains why she agreed to participate in the adaptation of this novel which had already been adapted on Antenne 2 in 1979. “Personally, I felt caught up in the script because, beyond the thriller, it’s a double love story: that of a couple, madly in love, but also that of a mother for her child who was torn from him. I was also fascinated by the strangeness of this island, in this case Ouessant, off the coast of Finistère. It is a character in itself, with its atmosphere, its wild beauty”explains the actress.
