In the occupied West Bank, a 16-year-old boy killed by the Israeli army, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a 16-year-old teenager, Abdul Rahman Sultan Khatatba, this Saturday, shot and killed by Israeli forces in the town of Beit Furik, in the northern West Bank, near the city of Nablus.
Questioned by Agence France-Presse, a source within the Israeli army, on condition of anonymity, assured that during a “counterterrorism activity in the Nablus area, dozens of suspects threw stones at security forces, who responded with anti-riot devices and live ammunition”.
According to the official Palestinian agency Wafa, two people were injured during this raid, a 45-year-old man and a 16-year-old teenager, shot in the thigh and taken to hospital. “Israeli forces stormed the town, firing live ammunition at residents”reports the press agency, citing residents.
Since October 7, 2023, at least 546 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank occupied by Israeli soldiers or settlers, according to Palestinian authorities, and at least 14 Israelis have been killed there in Palestinian attacks or attacks, according to figures Israeli officials.
