The December 2023 PS Plus Extra games will be announced in two short days. At least if they are not victims of a leak like in previous months. While waiting to discover their identity, we already know the names of the nine games which will leave the service at the start of next year. Be careful, there are some very good games in the lot.

PS Plus Extra releases for January 2024

The months go by, and the releases of the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog with them. Like its main competitor, the intermediate formula of Sony’s subscription service offers new additions every half of the month. Arrivals considered increasingly weak in the eyes of many subscribers, but which are systematically accompanied by exits on the same day. Headlining these January 2024 PS Plus Extra releases is the real gem of 2021: It Takes Two. The cooperative game by Josef Fares which caused a sensation will therefore leave the service on Tuesday January 16, 2024. Alongside it Devil May Cry 5 and its Special Edition on PS5 which includes new features, including the possibility of playing Vergil and an extreme challenge.

RPG lovers, or those who discovered the joys of CRPG with Baldur’s Gate 3 still have a few weeks to test another big name of the genre: Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition, headed by the flagships of the genre: Obsidian Entertainment. On the independent side, we will note the departures of Jett: The Far Shore and Omno, the little game developed solo and full of heart. As for the arrivals of PS PlUs Extra in December 2023, there are only a few days to wait before discovering their identity.
